Saying goodbye to summer has its compensations. Knitwear is one of them. We’ve been falling in love with the latest knitwear collection with fabulous designs from classic to super trendy. Cosy up with us now and take a look at a few of our favourites…

COCOON CARDI

south-cable-knit-cocoon-cardiganSlip into this ultra cosy cocoon cardi from South. The open front makes it ideal for layering and the chunky knit and cable design add Scandinavian inspired detailing. A knitwear must-have we know we’ll wear all winter.

LONG KNITTED CARDI

Our deep pocketed patterned duffle cardigan has crafted toggle fastenings to feel as cosy as a coat. Flattering and stylish over jeans and a tee for instant warmth. We love how one easy piece works this season’s key trend, especially teamed with denim, leather, crisp cotton and boots.

CLASSIC CABLE

Chunky cables in soft cream are perfect for chilly days. Great layered over Breton stripes to embrace the outdoor trend for all things land and sea. We love the chunky Nordic textures and hearty button detailing on this cable handknit jumper. A touch of alpaca gives it a gorgeous softness but it’s still machine washable for effortless, lasting care.

FABULOUS FRINGES

Fine knits like this fabulous tassle fringe cardigan add warmth without bulk. Another twist on the Early Settler vibes our designers loved from the catwalk, with a waterfall hem to drape and flatter. Wear it with boyfriend jeans or leggings and an embellished vest for casual days or slip over a shirt dress with some chunky silver jewellery to underline its Arts & Crafts credentials.

CAPED CRUSADER

The cape is a key shape again this winter and works beautifully in a knit. It’s stylish and flattering for all shapes in sizes 8/10 to 24. Our favourite cape ribbed cardigan makes a great choice for casual weekends or early evening when a coat is too smart or too warm and comes in classic, on trend colours: camel and navy.

SWEATER DRESSING

So comfy and cosy. We love the laid-back chic of sweater dresses so we’re very happy they’re a strong look for autumn. This knitted dress from South comes in a super flattering vertical cable knit and soft earth tones. Add opaque tights or leggings and boots and you’re warm as toast and blissfully comfortable.

Are you mad about knits too? It only takes a minute to share your style ideas or questions via our comments and we love to read your feedback.
