Treats for Christmas Eve delivered for €5
Christmas, Expat Life, Home, Kids, Toys and games | December 8th, 2011 | By: SueWe all know that getting the kids through Christmas Eve is a real chore, as the hours seem to go very slowly indeed. So, we’ve come up with some great ideas to help transform the night before Christmas into a magical family occasion. See how the hours fly by to midnight in cosy pjs, dressing gowns and slippers to snuggle around the fire in.
While Mum’s busy putting the finishing touches to the Christmas preparations and laying out the sherry and mince pie for Santa, she can pop on a pair of snug Sillabub cable knitted slipper boots to keep the chill off. Dads will adore our Timberland men’s slippers with rubber soles, perfect for popping out to the woodshed for logs or for finding hidden Christmas bikes!
After dinner, keep the kids occupied with some board games. We love the timeless classic Guess Who or the skill testing involved in Operation, and they’re part of our fabulous 3 for 2 offer too. They’ll have hours of fun playing and will give you time to get on with a few jobs before the grandparents arrive.
As the grandfather clock strikes nine the kids are ready for bed and for once there’s no stopping them! Girls will love our cosy freespirit animal print fleece robe, so grown up but warm and snugly too. Little boys love a cuddle too and our Demo supersoft hooded robe is perfect for a quick hug from Mum before bedtime. And what could be cuter for baby’s first Christmas than a pretty pramsuit if it turns nippy?
